Before & After Photo Gallery - Breast Reconstruction with Latissimus Dorsi Flaps (reconstruction of breast with back muscle and fat) - Patient 1

60 year old lady with a left breast cancer (blue dye of sentinel lymph node biopsy is evident): 3 years after immediate breast reconstruction with an LD flap and permanent expander, 18 months post-nipple reconstruction and 6 months after tattooing of nipple-areola.

Front views showing the symmetry of the two breasts and camouflage of the mastectomy scar by the nipple-areolar tattoo.

Oblique views highlighting the camouflage of most of the mastectomy scar by the nipple-areolar tattooing. The separate incision used for the axillary lymph node surgery has faded with time.

Lateral views showing good projection of the new nipple. The scar from the axillary lymph node surgery has faded with time.

Back donor scar is totally hidden in the horizontal bra line
